Hi Melissa,
Honestly, they aren't as good as when they are hot and crisp. You could served them cold but it wouldn't be as good. :(

I have just discovered your blog and LOVE it! I was searching for photos of the foods I am hoping to have at my wedding reception in June. I am considering your fried green bean recipe. (Our wedding is a "Southern Charm" theme, so I think these would be perfect!) Do you know if the beans get soggy quickly? It is something that would need to be made on-site or could it be prepared ahead of time?

Thanks for a great blog!
