A simple glaze would be powdered sugar mixed in with a little milk.  You could brush it on each scone.  For an added variation, you could flavor the glaze with lemon zest and juice, ginger, a pinch of cinnamon, or anything else you want.  Hope this helps.

Made them for the family for Valentines breakfast.  did everything in the kitchenaid mixer. sprinkled them with red sugar and cut them out with a heart shaped cookie cutter.  I also didn&#039;t have any heavy cream on hand but used 1/2 and 1/2 instead .  Still was divine!  thanks for the recipe.</description>
