What do Ina Garten, Rachel Ray, and the New York Times have in common? They all love Tate’s Bake Shop chocolate chip cookies. In Ina Garten’s foreward for Tate’s Bake Shop Cookbook, she shares with the readers how she would put in big orders from this Southampton bake shop and they would sell out by in her Barefoot Contessa store by the end of the day. Those must be some cookies.
I was sent a gift pack of three of their signature cookies and a copy of this lovely cookbook. The cookies look and taste homemade because Kathleen King, the owner of Tate’s Bake Shop, uses all natural ingredients and as built a cookie empire around these homemade tasting cookies. Her cookbook is fantastic too. It is straightforward and all of the recipes are for everyday baking. If you can’t get to Tate’s Bake Shop…. the bake shop gets to come to you through the recipes in this cookbook.
Through the end of this month you can order these cookies from the bake shop and they will send them anywhere. For a limited time, you can get a 15% discount when you use the promo code “cookie” when shopping in their online store. You can also become a fan of Tate’s Bake Shop on Facebook here.
For one Savory Sweet Life reader, you are going to win a copy of this cookbook and a gift pack of three different kinds of cookies. All you have to do is leave a comment with your favorite bake shop treat. Contest is open to US residents and will close Friday, Dec. 17 by 9pm PST. Winner will be chosen by Random.org and posted here. Good luck! Contest is now closed. Congrats to Elaine #212 for winning!
