When we moved to our new house a few months ago I received the 9 1/2″ and the 12 1/2″ 3-ply stainless steel non-stick pans from Le Creuset which I use multiple times daily. These pans replaced some inexpensive non-stick pans I had been using for a year. The problem with my older pans was the non-stick coating began showing wear only a couple months of having used them. The cooking surface was problematic and compromised.
I noticed immediately from the moment I started using the Le Creuset pans how durable they were. First of all, I could tell by the feel and weight of the pans that they were made with high quality in mind. Secondly, the non-stick coating is superior to anything I’ve ever used previously. For three months I have used these pans almost exclusively over my other cookware in order to test them for review. I kid you not, these pans are awesome. I love them and have no hesitation recommending them.
Investing in quality cookware makes cooking so much more enjoyable and these pans allow me to cook effortlessly without having to worry about foods sticking to the pan, especially pancakes and eggs – a staple around here.
Cleaning the non-stick interior is a breeze. However, unless you consistently scrub the exterior steel with every use, the pan will discolor because of the carbon. This is true for all stainless steel pans. This can easily be cleaned with a cleaning solution like Bar Keeper’s Friend. Personally, I like the look of a little wear on my pans.
Here is some additional info from Le Creuset:

With Christmas just over a week away, these pans would make a wonderful gift for any home cook.
