Christmas and cookies go hand in hand like Valentine’s Day and hearts. This year I’ve been intentional about not baking too many holiday cookies and only making the ones I really really love. And boy, do I love these chocolate minty bites of bliss, also known as Christmas Chocolate Mint Crinkle Cookies. Known as chocolate crackle, crinkle, and cracked cookies, this variation calls for a little bit of peppermint extract to give it a little something special. I also load it with chocolate chips, which when enjoyed cooled are tiny bits of chocolate goodness every chocolate loving person loves. These cookies have a brownie like characteristics about them that make them irresistibly good. They also make a great gift to give away. Enjoy!
- all-purpose flour
- sugar
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- baking powder
- salt
- semi-chocolate chips
