Almond Chocolate Toffee Brittle & Bon Appétit Dessert Bake-Off

Earlier in the year I made one of my favorite Holiday treats – Almond Chocolate Toffee Brittle. In fact I’m bring a batch of them to a cookie swap I’m going to later in the day. They are super easy to make and taste like Almond Roca… and who doesn’t love Almond Roca?

I love this recipe so much I entered them into a baking contest sponsored by Bon Appétit Magazine’s Blog Envy Dessert Bake-Off. I am asking for your help and vote for this challenge. You can cast your vote for your favorite here (which I hope you’ll pick me). In order to vote you will need to register for a free  Bon Appétit account. There are several categories you can cast your vote in, such as: Cakes, Cookies, Custards, Pies & Tarts, and Miscellaneous Desserts. My Almond Toffee Brittle has been categorized in the “Miscellaneous Desserts” category. Just look for the entry with this picture on it- with the name Savory Sweet Life attached to it and click on the picture.    Your selection will then be highlighted in green.  You may vote for one entry per category.  At the end of your voting, you’ll press a submit button and then you’re finished!

    I’m obsessed with those crackers used to make this brittle. I can’t imagine how much more obsessed I would be of these. My family loves almond roca. I might make these to surprise them.

    I like brittle. I usually eat the plain traditional kind. I love the added chocolate and almond. This is a yummy dessert or snack.
