Yesterday it dawned on me that we are more than halfway through April. APRIL! WOW! To think… it was just over two years ago when my boss from PBS Parents contacted to write 1-2 posts a week for the PBS Parents food site, Kitchen Explorers. Since the site launch I’ve enjoyed working for PBS Parents with the desire of providing great articles to help families cook and eat together more often. Writing for PBS Parents is not much different than writing for Savory Sweet Life. The objectives are the same – to share great food in an accessible, approachable way.
Since the beginning of Savory Sweet Life, I’ve always wanted to encourage people to cook great food without a lot of fuss or culinary know-how. But as a busy mom of three very active kids, it’s not really doable for me to write several times a week on Savory Sweet Life and twice a week on PBS Parents. It dawned on me that several people who subscribe to Savory Sweet Life may be wondering why I don’t post as regularly as I used to. It’s not that I’m not posting regularly, I am! I have a regular column on PBS Parents every Thursday and I write every other week on Mondays.
If you’re on Facebook, the best place to keep up with new articles is on the Savory Sweet Life page. I encourage you to “Like” the page if you don’t want to miss new recipes from either SSL or PBS. You can also find me on Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest by the name, @SavorySweetLife.
Here are three recent recipes I post on PBS Parents. Hope you enjoy!

We’re so lucky to have you, Alice! I’m going to make your French toast this Saturday for my husband’s birthday. Can’t wait. 🙂
