Happy Mother’s Day to all the moms reading! This morning I was gifted a morning of sleeping in, almost. My husband and daughters came in singing a Happy Mother’s Day song carrying a baking sheet with breakfast on top. It was so fun watching their faces and they had fun watching mine. My husband prepared a fabulous meal of bacon, eggs, salsa, kiwi, and toast. The girls could not wait for me to open my presents. So as I opened each one, my youngest daughter took the opportunity to graze off my breakfast because she thought I wasn’t looking and just like that the toast was gone. It was hilarious watching her. She was so hungry she wasn’t even aware I was taking her picture.
I also received 2 new fabulous glass coasters my Kindergartner made me in her class. They will go nicely with the ones my other daughter made when she had the same teacher when she was 5. I also received some “tickets” with wonderful affirming messages along with my daughter’s savings she placed in a home made envelope and decorated. Serious cuteness happening this morning. I was surprised by my last gift that was handed to me. It was a Wii Fit. Just what I always never wanted. I’m not sure what my husband is trying to say but I’m sure our family will enjoy using it. So far today is turning out to be the best Mother’s Day ever!

Thanks everyone. Yesterday was so much fun. I showed my daughter the post with her picture eating my toast and she said “HEY!!, you took pictures of me?” She’s losing her touch.. when she was 3 she probably would have completely got a way with it. In the mean time, the Wii Fit remains in the box.

Ahhh what a sweet family. Breakfast in bed is always a nice way to say “thank you for being an awesome mom and wife.”

Those are the most wonderful moments. However it isn’t mother’s day in Israel and I wish it was, my kids do not want to go to sleep! Wii is so much fun! I don’t have one but I have a friend who raves about it. Tell us how fun it is!
